Amphora

The beautiful lines, shapes and colours of the ancient Roman, Greek and Egyptian vessels and artifacts in the Chau Chak Wing Museum at Sydney University inspired the iconic forms of this collection.

The vessels were used to carry food and wine and symbolise the good times that brought people together to celebrate. The stories depicted on these vessels have also allowed us to learn about ancient wisdom, culture and stories of bravery, war, love, tragedy and myth as told by our ancient forbearers.
